Once you're apart of our community, we are by your side for the whole journey ahead, not just one placement.
1. Nurse and Midwife Led Screening
Founded and personally overseen by a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife, every candidate is assessed with genuine clinical judgement by completing a personality and clinical scenario based interview, not just a checklist.
4. Nearest and Dearest Community
You will automatically join our community from your first placement, receiving permanently discounted rates on any future placements, plus ongoing monthly monitoring of your nanny's blue card, first aid and CPR for as long as you have a Nearest and Dearest nanny.
3. A Safety Standard Built for Everyone
We're leading the industry with safety running both ways. We require parents to consent to a Police Certificate check before a placement begins, because a nanny who feels safe and supported is free to give a family their very best.

Meet Our Founder
Stacey is a Registered Nurse and Midwife, and the founder of Nearest & Dearest Nannies.
Before starting the agency, Stacey spent years working closely alongside families, often at some of the most important moments of their lives. Time and again, one thing stood out: her safety instincts built through clinical training, the things that felt like second nature but weren't always a given for even the most experienced nannies out there. So she decided to close that gap personally.
Every nanny placed through the agency goes through genuinely rigorous screening background checks, references, and scenario-based interviews that reveal not just their experience, but how they actually think under pressure. Before ever meeting a family, every nanny also completes a training program Stacey built and presents personally, covering the safety fundamentals every nanny should carry with them.
Because when a family welcomes someone into their home to care for their children, they shouldn't have to hope that person knows the basics. They should know it.
And once a family finds the right fit, the relationship doesn't end there. They become part of the Nearest & Dearest community — supported for their entire nanny journey, not just one placement.
